067 The Bariatric Surgeon Episode

by reeger on February 20, 2016

In this episode I bring you my interviews with six different bariatric surgeons. I conducted these interviews while I was at ObesityWeek in Los Angeles, CA in November 2015. I asked each surgeon one or two of the following questions: How do you help people decide which surgery to choose? And, If you could wave a magic wand and fix a problem related to bariatric surgery, what would you fix? In order of their appearances are: Dr Scott Shikora, Dr Thomas Clark, Dr Luciana El-Kadre, Dr Samer Mattar, Dr Walter Medlin, and Dr Jaime Ponce.

Here is a link the award winning video A Disease Called Obesity Please share it!

And for those who listened all the way through, here is picture I promised to share with you:

I believe in you,

Bev, Thank you for your kind words. I try to live my life according to the simple principle of whatever I want in life, I begin by giving that “thing” away. I try to help others have kindness, caring, compassion, friendship, knowledge, and love because these are the things I cherish the most. When I give this kind of energy and attention away, incredibly, this is what comes back to me. It is beautiful. We are all better for the giving and receiving.

As always, thank you for an informative, educational program. I look forward to your episodes and share them in my facebook groups. Your podcast gave me more education prior to surgery than any other source and I thank you for that education. I continue to learn from you and re-listen to many of your episodes. The video was great and I shared that as well. Please continue your good work – it makes a difference! I wish that I could review you multiple times in ITunes but they only allow one.

Hi Amy,
Thank you for you kind words and for sharing it with your social circles. It is always my hope that I connect with people… Each time I hit “publish” I think, “Ok, here goes. I hope this one connects!” Hearing that it does makes all the difference. Reeger : )
