Hi Reeger! Love the show! You are providing such a great service to people like myself who don’t have access to good after care. I have lost and maintained my 75 lbs weight loss but my bariatric surgeon has never ordered a blood test to see what my counts are (my lap band surgery was in 2011). I am slowly learning from your podcasts what to look out for. I asked my PCP to run a blood test and it turned out that I was slightly anemic.
Can you please tell me the name of the type of iron you recommend that doesn’t give you constipation? I know you recommend the bariatric advantage products and I would be happy to buy those as long as they don’t bind me up like so many other products.
Hope you enjoyed Italy! Well, how can you not…..
Monika

Hi Monika, Thank you so much for connecting and I am very glad you find the podcast helpful- Thats why I do it! I cannot tell you exactly what to take regarding iron but many of my patients are on one of the forms of Bariatric Advantage’s iron. Exactly which one you might want to consider, I leave for you to discuss with either your bariatric surgeon or your PCP. Congratulations on your weight loss and successful weight loss maintenance! Kindly, Reeger
